Pants!

Student loan came in yesterday (almost two months late, fuckers!) so there was much needed shopping to be done. Two films (Sex & Lucia, Amores Perros), socks (so desperately needed), lunch with J (jacket potatos, mmm), postage of various gifts/packages to people, pair of jeans, and …. underwear! I love pants. Pants pants pants. See below.

I’m a bit excited. I’ve never had a real birthday party before. When I was a kid my birthday was always amidst the worst of winters (February) and I have memories of my mum always saying “There’s too much snow, no one can make it..” Every. Single. Year. As I’ve gotten older I’ve never thrown a party because I’ve always been too nervous that no one will turn up. But now that I am king socialite with a lot of friends, I was excited to hear that J has booked a venue for me to have a party at! How kind of him. And to make it just so me, it’s at the Cosmopolitan hotel. Ahem. So I have decided that I shall throw a Sex & The City Cosmopolitan night, where we shall all (probably including me) wear sophisticated ballgowns and drink cocktails. No bloody beer. Well, yeah, I know it’s a bit early and all. But first birthday party, ever! Come on, gimme a break.
