Ah, this weekend has been lovely. Started off well with being sent home early from work, which is clearly a good thing. I felt so exhausted from getting all my uni work done that I almost creamed my pants when they said I could leave early. Came home to wonderful people, wonderful drinks, wonderful conversation.. ah, it was all just.. wonderful? I’ve been having really bad troubles sleeping lately (nightmares etc, as usual), but I managed a really great lie in, to wake up to beautiful sunshine on Saturday. Weeeee! On Saturday Liam & I went out dancing, which we hadn’t done together in so long. It was just so.. perfect! I had so much energy to burn and we kept giggling at things like retarded school girls. Stumbled home, tired and knees aching in the wee hours of the.. late morning. I scored tickets to see The Ladyboys of Bangkok tonight. After a huge special Danny roast dinner for a few friends, we headed off to the Ladyboys. And, as usual, oh my, they are just so fucking beautiful. One of them looked like an asian supermodel, I just couldn’t believe how stunning she was.
I HAVE FINISHED UNIVERSITY FOREVER. Oh. Frightened.
In other news I’ve become addicted to red wine.
Managed to get round to sorting out some business cards to print tomorrow.. Feedback would be nice!

The last one looks a bit crowded, but these are all beautiful and eyecatching… like your work!
1.) I too just finished university. 5 years, and I’m thrilled to have it behind me.
2.) LOVE the cards!!
I like 1, 2 and 5. Maybe because they’re landscape and that strikes me as aestetically (oh dear, can never spell that) neater. I like the 3rd but the veil looks a little strange with your name through it, if you know what I mean. probably not. ha.
Daniel – this is only my opinion – hope it helps -
regards business cards -
1)dont like first image for business card – you are advatising as fine art, fashion, night life and portraiture – not sure this image fits
2)You have published many shots better than this – not arty enough for fine art !
3) again – so many better shots of Eve to choose from – I just dont think this one is striking enough – dont like the makeup
4)subject is very wrong for business card !
5)love it !
6) love it !
congrats danny! i am done with uni after next week. i wish i could be done already, too. i suppose it’s time to start your career as a professional photographer, yeah? fantastic! good luck!
i really like the b&w card, the one with the girl in the hat, and the one with the contorted body stretched out on the green couch.
Congratulations.

Great photos. I’ve seen all and I can only say that I’m very delighted. Waiting for more.
The last one is absolutely beautiful…
as ever, i love your stuff petal. all the images are great. what kind of clients are you hoping to attract? especially like the last image of the girl smoking xx
Personally, I would highly recommend the last two. Also, I received the pictures. Thank you. Do you know how to protect them? i.e. having them matted?
My vote would be #3, #5, and #6; they seem to be the more commerically friendly versions of the card. The other ones are great, but perhaps a bit morbid/dark to be appeal to a wider audience.
Good work on them all though. My personal favourite is the first #1.
#1, #3 & #5, but especially #5–it’s perfect.
