It’s Brighton Pride this weekend. I know it probably doesn’t sound like a big deal, but it actually is. Pride in Brighton is like one huge festival, that’s free, and ever since I’ve lived here I’ve been involved in some way. Photographing, building floats (prize winners!), roller-skating in the parade, and last year shooting the advertising campaign (see here). This year I’m booked to work the whole day far far away so I will miss the whole parade (maybe favourite part!) and all day at the park. Granted, I am getting paid a nice wage, but it makes it all the more lonesome when I have about 15 people staying at my house and I’m going to miss the main event! I keep telling myself that I’m not missing much.. I’m not missing much. Of course there’s two days of partying to get through when I get back from work in the evening, so, yeah, that’ll suffice!
