Today feels like a very long day, what with it now being 4:21am. Rushing around collecting prints, framing, dropping them off at places for the festival. Then portfolio booboos that needed fixing (redesigned, here), and now I feel like I’m on some kind of editing & designing roll. Maybe it’s the four cups of coffee I’ve had (and I don’t drink coffee).
This one sounds like a bit of a tall tale but we were exploring an asylum a couple of weeks ago, planning on having cake for a friend’s 25th, when we stumbled into the main hall being on fire. It was a shame as that’s where we’d planned on having our birthday celebrations, but it did make for interesting photos, including this one of Rooks who promptly laid down for a quick snap…

I think I have brain clog as every time I sit down to write about the monumental amount of things that have been happening, and are happening, my brain just freezes and I think “Oh I’m too tired” and can’t seem to just get it all out. I keep saying that lots of amazing things are happening, but I don’t seem to be telling you guys what they are! So I swear, I promise, that at some point this week I will map out (even if it’s vaguely, due to my privacy paranoia here) all the wonderful things that are happening. Until then, another self-portait in this Goddamn wonderful building that Rooks and I explored last week or so:
