Yesterday was a long long day. In the morning we had a shoot for the L’Oreal Colour Trophy Competition. Straight after that we had two models, one being airbrushed white, another black. Twelve hours and almost a thousand frames later we were all ready to pretty much collapse. Here’s some out-takes that Christopher took as we were working in the morning.
I’ve just spent a good few hours sorting through all my folders of 2009 and selecting 500 photos to get printed – at 6″x4″ – in an effort to never let those memories disappear. In my first year of university I would fill up scrapbooks all year round with work photos, but just also photos taken with friends. Over the years I’ve kind of missed that physical tangibility you get from looking and being able to touch images. 2009 was a really good year for me and I suppose I owe it to myself to be able to flick through and smile at the images that bring back so many happy memories.
These are some more photos taken of May at Dungeness that I realised I hadn’t posted. I love that red dress.
Here’s some more images of Georgie in the abattoir…

It’s becoming more and more difficult to keep up with posting photos, which is a good thing because it means there’s a constant stream of creativity, which in turn equals happiness. I’m also happy that I’ve started seeing someone and it’s in that really sickening stage of feeling fluffy and happy and enjoying every minute of it. Here we are looking like happy souls mid roadtrip…

We took a road trip this weekend to Dungeness. I love it there so much. It’s amazing how barren it becomes as you drive closer to it and the silence is always so eerie. It was a terribly cold and windy day so I felt quite sorry for the models who more often than not seem to be wearing minimal or thin clothing. What I love about Dungeness the most is that you can be there for hours and not speak to, or even see any people. It’s littered with these disused shacks and materials all over this expansive beach. Destroyed boats are just sitting there, rotting away and there’s not a person in sight. There are some interesting buildings there and it was nice this time around (it’s the second time I’ve been) to be there with a different group of people, ones to create new and better memories with.
Model is May LR (who runs Festival of Sins). Poofy netting model’s own.
I have to say that I absolutely love this outfit. Georgie suits it so much!
