Nataleigh has alopecia universalis and trusted me enough to shoot this incredibly powerful portrait of her.

So, Pixel is perhaps the cutest little thing ever. Bundles of energy (involving attacking my feet non-stop all night whilst I try to sleep), slowly getting used to humans, but utterly adorable. I had been eyeing her up for a few weeks. I noticed a while ago that a neighbour of mine (who I do not know) had some kittens in their garden. When it was warm it was OK, they loved being in the garden. As it got colder I realised that he wasn’t taking good care of them – they were out in the pouring rain day and night and looked lost, cold, and unloved. I have never been able to have a cat before because my Mama and I are allergic (her a lot worse than I). I haven’t been too bad since she’s been around. My face itches a lot and my eyes water, but it’s all worth it to save such a gorgeous little creature from an uncertain life. She is absolutely tiny. We got the runt of the bunch (A saved another one), but just so so so damn gorgeous. Journey to old demented cat lover starts here….
I think she’s just started to realise that I’m not evil having stolen her from her home, but that she’s pretty damn lucky with her brand new warm bed and non stop cuddles. Long live Pixel!
